The work we do here matters.Department Overview Accessories and Energy SW team is responsible and participate in various product development life cycle as early as the front end design and architecture development, costing, agile development and test creation( automation). The product roadmap is always exciting as we innovate to mobilize and connect people in the moments that matters.Job Description· Responsible for developing firmware for communication devices for the professional and mission critical market in the commercial, government and industrial segments.· Participate and lead in all aspects of product development process including specification definition, design, implementation and testing and possess good understanding of the various software life cycle.( Agile)· Work closely with front end team and test team to ensure good solution is put in place to promote successful feature deployment.· Drive and lead detailed technical analysis required for the project, identify and solve complex technical problems requiring proper evaluation/analysis.· Collaborate and add values through participation in peer design and code review, providing comments and suggestions· Able to collaborate effectively across various functional teams from different sites to resolve complex product issues· Define specification which include software requirements for new software platform/system features/solutions.· Create documents for Architecture & Design, and Message Sequence Chart (MSC) for feature development· Well versed in Agile software development methodology.· Create and execute unit, integration and system tests#LI-TK1Basic Requirements· PHD/Master's/Bachelor Degree in Computer / Telecommunications / Software Engineering or Computer Science.· Preferably with at least 5-7 year's working experience or equivalent in firmware development.· Embedded system debugging and strong analytical skills are essential.· Excellent programming skills in C/C++· Good knowledge in Embedded system debugging tools and applications and good analytical skills.· Good knowledge of microprocessors (Qualcomm,NXP) , controller design, memory devices.· Knowledge of test equipment such as oscilloscope, audio/logic analyzer & signal generator will be an added advantage· Good foundation knowledge of microprocessors and controller design will be a plus· Experience in real-time embedded software development will be an added advantage· Experience with GIT tool , Radio Product Test Knowledge and Automation design.· Experience with LTE/WIFI/Bluetooth/Sensors will be an added advantage· Good foundation knowledge of microprocessors and controller design will be a plusTravel Requirements Under 10%Relocation Provided NonePosition Type ExperiencedReferral Payment Plan NoEEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
