- Develop and growth our sustainable service products portfolio, preparing solutions to meet customer needs.
- Co-ordinate with internal departments, factories, vendors for different service offerings.
- Preparation of offers & tender documents and support client managers to win the projects.
- Order processing and coordinating with factories for successful execution of projects.
- Represents Siemens Energy in pre-contract dealings with customers including negotiations.
- Perform forecasting, reporting and win-loss analysis.
- Identify and maintain the opportunity list in Salesforce in a punctual and accurate manner.
- Develop the sales capture plan along with client managers and transactional strategy for each seen opportunity incorporating the customer needs, equipment application, aftermarket and LTP strategy, Siemens Energy strengths, competitor's weaknesses and a robust market level pricing recommendation based on the assessment of competitive position.
- Understand the evaluation and decision-making process of customers and develop a strategy to position Siemens Energy.
- Provide direction to the “firm proposals” group for developing a firm proposal in line with the project sales strategy and lead the technical and commercial negotiations with the customer until contract closure.
- Manage the organizational risk through the entire sales development process both in terms of customer contractual obligations as well as providing robust internal sales forecasting.
- Achieve and maintain superior responsiveness to customers with quality information to strengthen Siemens Energy position.
- Identify objectives, strategies, and sales administrative plans to improve short and long-term order intake.
- Bachelor of Science / Engineering required with minimum 7 years of experience in Energy industry and at least 5 years in sales/business development role.
- Turbo-machinery experience required; Strong technical understanding of the steam turbine & generator is helpful.
- Must to be proficient in English languages.
- Ability to work independently and interact with all levels within customer organization, strong analytical and strategic problem solver with a focus on technical differentiation and value selling
- Proficient in communication, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Develop leadership skills by spearheading a multi-functional team of people to deliver a successful sales campaign.
- Develop strategic thinking through customer interaction, analytical thinking and decision making at various stages of the sales process.
- Develop commercial competence through interacting with both customers and Siemens Energy legal and financial teams during the process of closing a deal.
