PURPOSE: Reporting to the Marketing Director with a dotted line to the General Manager of Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand (SEA/ANZ) Main contact point for SEA ANZ (Retail, Franchise, E-commerce): Direct To Customer market Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, wholesale market Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. Work together with the Marketing Director and General Manager of SEA/ANZ in defining the marketing strategy for the sub-region. Involved in the planning and execution of all Above The Line (ATL) and Below The Line (BTL) activities, to accomplish the regional business objectives in terms of sales, margin, profitability, visibility, awareness and market share. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Strategy Develop a strategic vision of the business in assigned region/territories. Design and implement strategies to amplify awareness of Clarks. Define a 360-marketing strategy by adapting the global marketing plan to the local specificities and requirements. Budgets Work together with the Marketing Director and General Manager of SEA/ANZ in defining the annual marketing budget, ATL and BTL, by market, brand/sub-brand and distribution channel. Implementation of the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget for the region. Work with the business partners (wholesale market) in preparing / validating their A&P plans for the year. Ensure local A&P budgets are updated quarterly. Work together with Marketing Director, Finance and Wholesale Manager, SEA/ANZ in performing annual audit of A&P expenses. 360 Marketing Plans Develop and implement effective and impactful 360 marketing campaigns, ensuring ATL and BTL marketing activities are aligned with the brand's strategic business direction. Develop an integrated marketing approach to drive brand awareness and commercial results to stores and brand.com. Execute marketing plans with all cross-functional areas of the business to ensure proper implementation (merchandising, retail, commercial, digital). Measure and report performance of all marketing initiatives and assess against business KPIs. Learn from doing and propose improvements when relevant. Media, PR & Communications Define and implement the ATL strategy for SEA, ANZ Cross analysis Media vs Sell-out Define and execute the PR strategy in assigned territories, driving omni media awareness Cascade PR assets to markets Define and execute the communications strategy in assigned territories to drive awareness for brands and launches Generate PR report on a regular basis by campaign Retail/Wholesale (Franchise) Be involved in the planning and execution of new store opening events or store activations for both retail and wholesale accounts Develop quarterly trading plans for assigned territories, according to their specificities, business objectives and agreed budget Coordinate and support retail stores (own retail, IFS) on all advertising and promotions, media activities and branding events (incl. launches, roadshows, and related communications, pre-selling events, press conference, ) Projects, Launches& Animations Plan, organize, monitor and supervise the marketing projects, launches and animations in Singapore, Malaysia and the rest of region. Close follow-up of initiatives implemented by competition and partners in the assigned markets. RESULTS: 360 Marketing Plans (including in-store activations) for Direct to Customer market and Wholesale Market, incl Media, Digital, PR and Retail Marketing plans. Post Campaign Reports - Marketing KPI with ROI Reports PR Report and frequent / optimum PR activities and social coverage both offline & online Good rapport with internal and external stakeholders Essential Knowledge: Tertiary qualification in marketing/ mass communications or related field with at least 5 years working experience Experience in managing brands within Southeast Asia Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, knowledge in using Canva, Photoshop, would be an advantage Proficient command in English, Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia, verbal and written Successful Experience: Experience in developing and implementing 360 marketing plans, ATL and BTL marketing activities in Singapore, Malaysia and across Southeast Asia Experience in managing PR and related fields Experience working with trade (retailers/ landlords/ distributors) Competencies: Strong research and analytical skills Ability to think creatively and innovatively Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in photoshoot, videography, production would be added advantage Strong ability to work efficiently and effectively to multitask, and to handle last-minute changes in a fast-paced retailing environment Self-initiator and a team player Agile and adaptable to working in a growing organization Willingness to assist with initiatives and projects as needs arise throughout the organization About Clarks Two brothers, a small town, and shoes that changed the world.
