- Develop and implement employee relations strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s objectives and foster a positive work environment.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on employee relations matters, including resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Oversee the HR operations function, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of employee transactions, including onboarding, offboarding, and HR data management.
- Monitor trends in employee relations and assess the effectiveness of initiatives, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
- Design and carry out training programs for management and employees to enhance understanding of workplace policies, conflict resolution techniques, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, and to support organizational change efforts.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and feedback mechanisms, to gauge employee satisfaction and drive improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations while maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, with at least 4 years in employee relations and HR operations.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws and regulations, as well as HR best practices.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution, conducting investigations, and managing employee grievances.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop appropriate solutions.
- Proficient in HR information systems and data management.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive employee issues.
