Our client is one of the Japan leading construction companies. They are currently looking to hire experienced Civil & Structural Engineers to provide both technical and coordination support in design and site related matters with a focus on back-office project support. You will need to lead the coordination with consultants and subcontractors, manage design reviews and ensure all structural works are delivered safely, timely and according to standards.Job Responsibilities:Review and validate civil & structural drawings, calculations and technical documentsCoordinate closely with consultants, local authorities and subcontractors for design approvals, inspections and construction executionSupervise site activities and ensure structural works are built as per design safety rules and quality standardsProactively identify and resolve technical issue at siteMonitor construction progress and report and delay or risk to project teamAssist in cost control, materials planning and method statement preparationsEnsure all compliance with local codes and regulationsRequirements:Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural EngineeringAt least 5 years working experience in building construction or infrastructure projectsFamiliar with both site supervision and design coordination rolesExperienced in liaising with consultants, authorities and managing subcontractorProficient in reading and writing Chinese (Mandarin) to coordinate with international teamsKnowledge of software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS or BIM tools is an advantageGood communication and leadership skills, with fluency in English, Mandarin and MalayAble to work independently and manage multiple responsible#LI-JACMY#countrymalaysia
