Lead the formulation and execution of the bank's Financial Sponsors regional strategy , aligned with the bank's growth priorities and risk appetite. Monitor investment trends in both private equity and real estate sectors, identifying actionable opportunities including leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, fund refinancing, and asset-level financing. Build market presence through thought leadership, networking, and representing the bank in industry events and institutional sponsor / fund managers forums. Act as the primary sector interfaces with key financial sponsors/ fund managers and their investment teams at a regional level Originate and structure complex transactions including leveraged buyouts, M&A advisory, acquisition finance, bridge loans, and equity syndications. Identify Income-Producing Real Estate (IPRE) opportunities including portfolio-level term loans, green/sustainable real estate funding, and REIT-related structures. Drive cross-border deal visibility and sponsor intelligence across countries, helping client coverage teams identify sponsor-linked and fund-led opportunities Partner with country coverage teams (Global Account Managers and Field Account Managers) to drive consistent sponsor and IPRE fund coverage regionally. Facilitate regional connectivity between sponsors, their portfolio companies, and real estate holdings across different jurisdictions. Work closely with product partners (Loans, Treasury, Cash / Trade and Investment Banking) to deliver integrated solutions. Support internal governance processes related to sector prioritization, credit appetite alignment, and pipeline approvals. Lead sector-focused discussions with Credit, Risk, and Investment Committees to align risk-return expectations and structure suitable credit solutions. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in related discipline. >12 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Sponsor Coverage, or Corporate Banking with a strong focus on private equity, real estate funds, or REIT platforms across ASEAN markets. Strong understanding of private equity investment models, exit strategies, fund structures, and sponsor-driven transactions. Proven origination and execution track record in complex corporate or sponsor-led deals across ASEAN. Regional exposure and ability to navigate cross-border teams, regulatory environments, and local business nuances. Deep familiarity with ASEAN real estate markets and regulatory environments is an advantage. Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and influencing skills. Show more Show less
