Job Overview The Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE programs that ensure compliance with regulations, minimize operational risks, and foster a culture of safety excellence across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and standards aligned with relevant regulations and industry best practices Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend appropriate control measures Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams on HSE matters Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels Track and analyze HSE performance metrics and prepare reports for management Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations Manage emergency response planning and coordinate drills Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into business decisions Stay current with regulatory changes and emerging HSE trends Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of progressive HSE management experience Professional certification (CSP, CHMM, CIH, or equivalent) Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and management systems Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience implementing and managing HSE programs Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Skills Leadership and team management Risk assessment and mitigation Incident investigation techniques Crisis management and emergency response Regulatory compliance Data analysis and reporting Training development and delivery Project management Effective communication and presentation Working Conditions Primary office environment with regular visits to operational sites May require occasional travel to multiple locations Some physical activity during site inspections Potential exposure to various work environments depending on industry Location: -Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia JLL, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services.
