The pride in our brand fuels a workplace that encourages creative thinking, champions experimentation, and promotes authenticity which has contributed to our enduring success.Maintenance & Repair-Troubleshoot and rectify faults in all electrical installations and control systems.-Attend to machine and equipment breakdowns, performing immediate troubleshooting and repairs.-Service electrical motors, including the replacement of faulty units.-Maintain all electrical installations and equipment in the LT substation to ensure optimal working condition.-Keep electrical installations, particularly the Motor Control Center (MCC), clean and well-maintained.Installation & Project Support-Install and commission new equipment, including machinery and PLCs.-Assist and supervise vendor activities, including equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and testing.Administration & Reporting-Perform and record daily readings from voltmeters, ammeters, power factor meters, and KWH meters.-Maintain a daily log of all activities and completed tasks.-Discuss and highlight equipment problems with the Maintenance Engineer, recommending effective remedial actions.-Ensure an adequate inventory of spare parts is maintained in the workshop.
Additional Duties-Provide support for instrumentation-related work.-Conduct routine safety inspections on all portable electrical tools and equipment.-Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Key Working Relationships
This role requires frequent collaboration and communication with various internal and external parties.-Daily Collaboration: Team Leaders, Production Crew, and fellow Craftsmen.-Regular Reporting & Consultation: Maintenance Engineer.-Project-Based Interaction: Project Engineer.Qualifications & Experience-Preferably possess a valid Electrical Chargeman Certificate (Type A0 or higher).Skills & Attributes-Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.-Must be in good physical health to meet the demands of the job.-Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts.If you want to work for a company that lives by their values, then give your career a reason to smile...every single day.
