In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of a variety of forklift, reach truck, pallet truck, other material handling equipment, ensuring reliability and safety for our clients. Our workshop is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, and you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of service that Crown is known for.Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting technical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and executing repairs in a timely and efficient manner. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various types of material handling equipment specifically Forklift.
Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain detailed records of service activities and parts used in repairs.
Collaborate with the workshop team to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
Stay current with industry standards, safety protocols, and technical advancements.
Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.
Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of equipment.
Requirements:
SPM, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field SKM, etc.
Proven experience as a forklift / service technician or mechanic in a similar industry.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
