Job Description YOUR ROLE AND MISSION AS A SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER: Collaborate closely with stakeholders at AirAsia to conceptualize, define, design, develop, and deliver the product backlog, ensuring a seamless, device-agnostic experience for both customers and merchants across various domains such as customer support and back-office systems. Focus on enhancing the user experience across AirAsia's digital platforms, striving for simplicity and ease of use. Work alongside the software engineering team, guiding new ideas from conception to prototyping, engineering, and production. Provide clear vision and direction to Agile development teams and stakeholders, creating and prioritizing requirements and user stories. Ensure the availability of well-groomed backlogs for the team to work on consistently. Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development, defining the product vision, roadmap, and identifying growth opportunities. Assess the value of features, develop use cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes in alignment with the product strategy. Lead the planning of product release plans, setting expectations for the delivery of new functionalities. Actively address impediments hindering the team's progress toward Release/Sprint Goals. Conduct thorough market research and analysis, keeping track of competitors and industry trends. Stay updated on Agile/Scrum best practices and emerging trends. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A total of over 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a Product Management role, preferably in E-Commerce or Customer/Merchant Support. Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Previous experience managing high-traffic E-Commerce sites. Strong understanding of APIs, Microservices, Data Science, UI/UX, and programming languages like JavaScript and/or Python. Proficiency in cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud, and associated services such as App Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Monitoring, and BigQuery. In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills. Prior experience in the Travel or E-commerce domain is advantageous. Exceptional organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A creative thinker with a clear vision for product innovation.
