The team has experts in wide range of areas (mechanical, electrical, software, project management) and is responsible for the development of Dyson Digital Motors and lithium-ion battery management. Our team expertise lies in developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies for battery management and motor drive circuit design, allowing the creation of high performance and reliable Dyson products.About the roleWe are looking for a Power Electronics intern to be involved in the development of the digital motors and battery management systems required to power our leading products. Some of your tasks could include:Electronic circuit design across a range of regimes, from mains-powered high voltage products to complex high-speed digital logic systemsDeveloping and testing algorithms to ensure electronics, software and hardware integrationTesting and analysis of electronics at circuit and product level for new designsTesting and assessing the reliability and robustness of our designsSolving electronics challenges to create better, faster, more cost-effective and energy efficient solutions for Dyson's unique productsYou'll also be interacting with teams across Research, Design & Development (RDD) including product developers and mechanical and software engineers ensuring our solutions are functional, secure and easy to use.
