This Project Manager (Supply Chain) is an individual contributor position who is responsible for supply chain related programs to ensure the timely implementation in accordance with Global Supply Chain strategic plan. The incumbent partners with operations counterparts, our customers, NPI, Materials & planning, SMT, commodity team to streamline the business process for the different categorization (non-critical, copy exact & critical) of different commodity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Drive various of supply chain projects on material margin improvement, supplier base regionalization, Lead-Time reduction, Product Site transfer and other operational excellence initiatives. Engage upstream with Account Management, Quote teams and CBOs in winning new and existing businesses through competitive BOM cost management and a robust supply chain design Partner with Commodity Management team to implement commodity strategy to achieve and maintain optimal product margin, supply chain capacity, lead time, cost effectiveness and risk mitigation Identify, quantify, and mitigate supply chain risks to projects/ program & closely work with Commodity Managers to propose alternate source with business justification case to propose to the customers. Participate in regular NPI / project meetings and follow up on supply chain related action items Production readiness: supplier capacity planning, ramp readiness by product, lead time reduction, material supply continuity and other ad-hoc customer requests Educational/Certification Requirement : Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business administration / Engineering or other discipline Experience Requirement: Work Experience: 8 to 10 years Project Management experience in Manufacturing industry preferred. Semiconductor, Electronics, Medical Devices, Computer Manufacturing preferred. Track record in managing Project management skill Proficient in Excel, data compilation and analysis Good communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skill A team player with strategic thinking
