Job Description Managing the entire Site IT Operations activities Execute Site IT Objectives and manage user expectations Acts as liaison between Site IT, Global IT and Site Business to develop, enhance, and improve IT services and systems Aids in acquiring new software and hardware for use in conjunction with automated systems Manages employees, assigns and reviews projects Synchronize operating procedure with other Media sites & Global Plans, administers and reviews activities concerned with the acquisition, development, maintenance and use of computer and telecommunications systems within an organization Responsible for the availability and reliability of site IT systems & services Ensure system uptime and SLA are met in-line with targets that are being defined. Responsible for Site IT Budget planning and management. Responsible to ensure Sarawak site governance, audit & Safety compliance Lead Site IT team during plant wide business critical crisis or disaster. Assist APAC IT Director in making relevant and appropriate decision during business critical crisis or disaster. Escalate or provide update on business-critical matters to site management & Global IT on a need basis Qualifications Degree or Master in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology with over 5 years of working experience Required : Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in IT at MNC Experience in managing IT services and systems Exposed to various IT infrastructure and software technologies. Experience in cultivate and motivate the team in transformation and innovation ideas. Skills : Experience in Project Management, Audit and compliance (SOX, ISO, IMS & BCMS) would be added advantage Experience in managing people in a diversified environment Experience in setting goals and objectives for Site IT Operations in-line with Corporate IT & Site Business Goals and follow through the execution of the objectives Additional Information Western Digital thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
