Senior Network Engineer

In your new role you will:
- Proactively checking network performance and ensuring system availability and reliability.
- Provide technical support as needed to maintain the network operation objective.
- Assist departments across the organization in understanding and implementing network solutions in a cost-effective manner that aligns with business objectives.
- Works closely with other network engineers and cross-functional teams, reviews, executes technical designs, and provides technical direction.
- Evaluate, define, and develop new and existing reference standards and their adoption to successfully onboard services with speed, quality, and efficiency.
- Participate in an on-call (24x7) support rotation with other members of the NOC.
- Develop written procedures, engineering drawings, and other technical documentation.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or any equivalent course.
- Hands-on experience and supporting enterprise-level networks.
- Hands-on experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
- Hands-on experience in EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS, and other routing protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving skills - Experience working with Wireshark.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
