Transport Network Planner to support growing transport requirement and plan future fiber builds for 5G and mobile services. The role focuses on IP transport planning, with DWDM and Microwave knowledge as an added advantage to support overall network design and coordination.
- Plan and forecast transport network capacity (IPRAN and Access transmission).
- Develop high-level network designs for expansions and upgrades.
- Analyze traffic trends and align capacity with demand.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IP transport planning or similar role.
- Experience with automation, scripting, or data analytics in network planning.
- Experience with network planning tools and traffic analysis.
- Good communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of routing and switching (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN).
- Strong understanding of the transport requirement for 5G.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
