AL Maritime is a business unit within GM&T (Global Markets & Technologies). The activity is articulated around four main businesses: Global Helium, Global Rare Gases, Offshore Energies and Maritime Cryogenic Supply. It is a very international environment, managing multiple locations worldwide.As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.The purpose of the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer is to ensure that all technical and commercial aspects of the Company’s E&I related scope meets the required function, fit and purpose and is to the required quality while bringing value to the company by optimizing designs and procuring at the lowest possible cost. The E&I Engineer works closely within the tendering or project teams to ensure the best outcome for the company is achieved.How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Demonstrate a commitment to safety at all timesReview and understand various technical information from clientAlong with Lead Engineer, prepare design documents such as; instruments list, P&ID (E&I related), instrument datasheets, instrument hook up drawings, loop diagrams, control logic, cable schedules, E&I MTO calculationsKnowledge of Hazardous area requirements & designing of E&I equipment suitable for such areasSupport the tendering team in their activitiesAssisting Lead Engineer in preparing all E&I related documentation for client submissionKnowledge of Ensure E&IConduct site visits at fabricator’s facilities (local & international locations)Conduct E&I related Factory Acceptance Testing, punch point clearance along with the TeamConform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and safety rulesPerform other duties as assigned, based upon changing business needs, as communicated by the Director, Business Development - APACAre you a MATCH?Degree or diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, or similar0-2 years work experience as a E&I EngineerE&I Design & Engineering for a skid/Module/PlantStrong command of English, written & verbal2D drafting competencyStrong technical writing skillsExtremely strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to professionally interact with business contacts both inside and outside of the companyAttention to detail; ability to successfully handle many tasks at once while pushing them all to completionConcern for order and quality; checks own workStrong discretionary effort; is proactiveWilling to travel when requiredAbout Air LiquideA world leader in gases, technologies and services for Industry and Health, Air Liquide is present in 78 countries with approximately 64,500 employees and serves more than 3.8 million customers and patients.
