About The Company Our client is a specialist engineering company based in Shah Alam, with projects in Malaysia, Australia, Singapore, and Vietnam. About The Job Provides overall day-to-day leadership, management and direction to the finance, accounting, administration, payroll and procurement functions. Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, reliable project reporting, sound budgeting and forecasting and ensuring appropriate controls are in place. Providing input on financial strategies which includes funding, structure, cash flow management and capital allocations, and supports the CFO in understanding the company's financial position on a timely basis. Work closely with the CFO to deliver monthly consolidated reporting to the board and deliver system and procedural improvements both in general accounting and operations. About The Manager/team Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be working closely with him and the local management team to ensure updated financial reporting. You will be supported by a team of accounting/hr professionals. Skills & Experience Required Degree in Accounting. ACCA/CPA is a plus. Local Malaysian with a minimum of 10 years of managerial experience. Experience in project accounting is a must. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, planning and organising, problem-solving and analytical skills.
