A fast-growing retail company is looking for a strong Head of IT to lead their IT department and to complement their expansion over the next few years.

Ensure that Business Units receive timely and high-quality service delivery from the IT Team.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the team's efficiency in achieving desired outcomes.
Update the IT Roadmap in alignment with business objectives, requirements, and expansion plans.
Demonstrate proficiency in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with Business Units and vendors, fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.
Provide guidance to Business Units regarding the ramifications of specific system design choices.
Cultivate external partnerships (contractors, suppliers, vendors) to optimize current and future technology needs and improve service efficiency.
Oversee the creation, design, management, and support of the IT infrastructure.
Manage IT infrastructure tasks and resource allocation effectively, particularly during the expansion of new outlets.
Proactively manage vendor relationships, serving as a liaison between the business, key vendors, and the IT team.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Experience working within the retail industry is highly recommended and advantageous.
Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, stock management, and inventory management is essential.
Experience in driving migration systems within the retail industry is desired, demonstrating the ability to effectively transition systems while minimizing disruption.
The candidate should be capable of managing multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Strong leadership skills are necessary to lead, guide, and develop team members within the IT department.
The ability to establish, build, and maintain relationships with relevant parties, including vendors, is crucial for successful technology integration and support within the retail environment.
