We have a passion for growth, including investing in the development of our people.SummaryThis position will be the EMEA and ASPAC expert for intercompany accounting. This person will work closely with corporate and regional teams to ensure intercompany accounting policies and procedures are embedded. This person will actively drive the identification and clearing of intercompany mismatches. A core responsibility of their role will be to participate in the initiative to standardize and automate intercompany processes. This role is temporary, for 18 months.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate integration of the process and oversee finance teams to ensure strict compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance of policies and procedures for intercompany accounting activities
  • Drive continuous process improvement including automation and acceleration.
  • Prepare Weekly KPIs of the intercompany project.
  • Support with intercompany reconciliations and review.
  • Support in the resolution of intercompany disputes as needed by local accounting teams.
  • Participate in the global initiative to standardize and automate intercompany tasks.
  • Present project and status updates to the Project Lead.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is a must.
  • At least 4 years of accounting experience including significant intercompany experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of consolidations, international accounting, and reporting issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. All candidates must be fluent in English.
  • Experience with an ERP system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle).
  • Experience with consolidated financial reporting systems (e.g., Hyperion, OneStream, Jet Anaplan, SAP BPC).
  • Experience working in a project environment.
  • High and demonstrated attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks, often with non-negotiable deadlines.
