- Implement Cisco's global EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Develop local compliance programs that align with regulations and enhance safety culture.
- Deliver training to employees, contractors, and partners on EHS awareness and practices.
- Act as the primary contact for local regulatory agencies on EHS matters.
- Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures.
- Perform EHS audits, risk assessments, and inspections regularly.
- Manage and maintain EHS documentation in line with legal and corporate policies.
- Lead local safety committee meetings and support corporate safety initiatives.
- Drive local and regional EHS projects and support ASEAN/APJC EHS goals.
- Serve as a trusted liaison between the global EHS team and local partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field recognized by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
- Passed the National Institute of Safety and Health (NIOSH) SHO examination.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in occupational safety and health.
- Completed university-accredited training in at least three areas: Occupational Medicine, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, or Psycho-sociology.
- Fluent in both Malay and English (written, verbal, and reading).
- Additional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or ISO 45001/14001 Auditor.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Able to quickly learn and adopt new tools and systems.
- Experienced in organizing safety awareness events.
- Project management capabilities.
- Construction safety certification is a plus.
