Job Summary We're looking for a highly driven finance professional to support the group finance team as a Finance Transformation Assistant Manager. Based in Malaysia and reporting to the VP finance, this is a regional role where you will be responsible for managing and executing key projects involving the development, optimization and implementation of finance and operational processes, ERP harmonization, and transition to new accounting policies throughout the group. About your role Support on preparation of documentation/SOP of key finance processes throughout the group. Identify, develop and implement new finance processes and controls, and drive harmonisation with in-house developed systems and ERP systems. Process re-engineering by optimizing end-to-end finance processes in accounting and finance operations, month and year-end closing, group consolidation and budgeting, to ensure that current and future business requirements are comprehensively mapped in a systematic manner. Support the implementation of the transformation process working closely with the senior finance and tech team. Interacts with key business stakeholders across the group, including senior leadership, which involves advising and executing on high-impact decisions. Ensuring processes are compliant with local laws, regulation and audit requirements. Work closely with cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders to support business-led initiatives and projects, where relevant. Requirements Bachelor Degree or higher in finance, accountancy or related subjects. CPA, CMA or CFA equivalent is a plus. At least 3-4 years of experience on regional finance implementation or transformation work. Prior experience leading transformation projects in a consulting practice or large corporate environment is an advantage. Understanding of best practice finance processes (including group reporting and consolidation processes), and system solutions. Significant experience planning, driving and delivering large finance transformation programmes including ERP implementation. Possess strong communication (written and oral), interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with peers and senior leaders locally and on a remote basis. Exceptional ability in influencing change, and driving results through efficient and practically executed approaches. Independent self-starter with strong professional judgment, structured approach to problems and creative problem-solving skills. Experienced in implementing and using Netsuite ERP software. Proficiency with G Suite, consolidation reporting tools and data analytics tools would be an advantage.
