These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.Job DescriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Graduate Academy Program Manager/Assistant Manager to lead the implementation and enhancement of our comprehensive Graduate Trainee Program. This program aims to develop and equip graduates who join our company, nurturing their skills and competencies within a one-year timeframe. As the Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing training and engagement initiatives, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to ensure the success of our graduate trainees.Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute a comprehensive training and development program that aligns with our company's goals and objectives, focusing on enhancing the skills and competencies of our graduate trainees.
  • Monitor the progress and performance of trainees throughout the program, providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to identify suitable placements and rotations for trainees within the organization, ensuring they gain exposure to various functions and business areas.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of the Academy program through assessment tools and performance metrics, making recommendations for continuous improvement and program enhancement.
Cohort Onboarding and Networking
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cohort onboarding program that fosters strong connections and promotes a sense of belonging among graduate trainees.
  • Design pathways and activities that encourage cohort interaction, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, creating a supportive network for trainees to learn from and inspire one another.
  • Facilitate introductions and networking opportunities between cohort members, senior management, mentors, and other employees, fostering a collaborative environment where trainees can learn from diverse perspectives.
  • Organize team-building activities, workshops, and social events that promote cohort bonding, cultural understanding, and the exchange of ideas.
  • Encourage and support the development of cohort projects and initiatives, allowing trainees to collaborate on meaningful projects that contribute to their professional growth and the success of our organization.
  • Continuously assess and refine the cohort onboarding program to ensure its effectiveness and relevance, incorporating feedback and insights from trainees and stakeholders.
Performance Management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess trainees' performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide timely feedback to support their professional growth and development.
  • Develop an effective qualification process that can evaluate the graduate skills, potential and performance in the one (1) year program. Ensure the “quality” of all the trainees are up to agreed standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized development plans that address trainees' specific needs, aligning them with their career aspirations and our company's objectives.
  • Monitor and manage the budget allocated to the Academy program, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining the quality and effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Conduct regular cost analyses and assessments to identify opportunities for optimizing program expenses while maximizing the impact on trainee development.
  • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to negotiate contracts, secure competitive pricing for external training resources, and manage vendor relationships to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on budget performance, cost management, and return on investment (ROI) of the Academy program to key stakeholders.
Program Administration
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trainees, including performance evaluations, training records, and career development plans.
  • Prepare regular reports on program activities, progress, and outcomes for management review.
  • Ensure all learning interactions and hours are captured/recorded as appropriate.
  • Manage the program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to graduate trainee programs, incorporating relevant insights into program design and implementation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing, delivering and/or managing trainee programs or similar talent development initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Prior experience in learning facilitation and/or training delivery is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
