A multinational FMCG manufacturer is looking for a Facilities Engineer to join them in Selangor and Johor. Your new role Oversee the operation and maintenance of utility systems such as steam, compressed air, refrigeration, HVAC, and water treatment. Ensure all utility systems comply with safety, environmental, and food safety regulations. Lead energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives to reduce utility consumption and environmental impact. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for utility equipment. Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support operational reliability and capacity planning. Manage utility-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and system optimisations. Supervise contractors and junior technicians, providing technical guidance and performance oversight. Monitor utility performance metrics and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and root cause investigations. What you&aposll need to succeed Bachelor&aposs Degree in Engineering or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, specialising in Plant Utilities in the manufacturing industry. FMCG manufacturing is an added advantage. Experience in wastewater treatment plants and knowledge in boiler operations is necessary. Steam Engineer or CePIETSO competency is an added advantage.
