This role will own the end-to-end client order fulfillment process - overseeing a regional team, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and service standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, confident in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders across Southeast Asia, including Mandarin-speaking clients or partners. You will be based in Malaysia and manage a team located in Indonesia to ensure effective operational coverage across time zones and public holiday differences. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the regional Sales Order Management team to support accurate and timely processing of client onboarding, account changes, and order execution. Serve as the main escalation point for complex or high-priority orders, driving resolution with internal teams including Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product. Ensure consistent adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and contract terms when fulfilling orders or modifying client accounts. Act as a trusted partner to the Commercial and Customer Success teams by advising on process workflows, turnaround expectations, and client-specific exceptions. Front conversations with external partners and enterprise clients (including Mandarin-speaking stakeholders) to clarify order-related issues and ensure a seamless experience. Identify and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy, turnaround time, and automation within the sales order lifecycle. Maintain high standards of data quality across all platforms (CRM, billing systems, internal tools), ensuring clean and reliable records for downstream teams. Support operational reporting, internal audit requirements, and documentation of key SOPs to drive operational scalability. Build and coach a high-performing team with strong service orientation and attention to detail. Skills & Experience 6-10 years of experience in Sales Operations, Client Operations, or Sales Order Management, with at least 2 years in a people management or team lead role. Proven track record in driving operational improvements and managing internal controls in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders, including Mandarin-speaking clients. Experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and familiarity with sales and account workflows. Demonstrated leadership capabilities - setting team standards, coaching junior staff, and managing performance outcomes. Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable to changing business needs. Preferred Qualifications Background in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise technology companies. Prior experience managing offshore or regional operations teams.
