- Manage the end-to-end R2R process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting and ensure alignment with organization goal.
- Ensure smooth daily R2R operations and ensure timely closing activities and reporting packages.
- Ensure compliance to internal controls, accounting policies, and group reporting requirements and SOPs.
- Align with process owners or other country best practices to drive the process standardization and efficiency.
- Work closely with finance team and have periodic meetings to detect/solve accounting related issues for mitigation and continual improvement.
- Review Balance sheet account review and sub modules reconciliations, and make sure there is no significant risk and exposures related with compliance and Internal control.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the R2R team, providing guidance and support in daily tasks and long-term goals to encourage positive staff development, engagement, and talent retention.
- Monitor team performance, track KPIs, and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Address and resolve operational and accounting issues within the R2R process.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information and resolve issues.
- Support Internal and External Audit schedules and queries.
- Min. 8-10 years of working experience in accounting functions and has supervised a team.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or other professional accounting qualification.
- R2R experience, with hands-on experience in designing/drafting (Operations Procedures) and R2R project implementation is an advantage.
- Solid end-to-end R2R lifecycle understanding.
- Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Excel and PowerPoint
- Power BI or Power Platform knowledge is an advantage
- Experienced with IFRS and J-SOX and any kind of internal control system equivalent to J-SOX
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, interpersonal skills
