And our global opportunities are endless for you to grow and get recognised for your passion to perform.We are currently seeking an Advanced Chemical Engineer to join our Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur office.Key Responsibilities:· The TS Process Specialist position for Gas Processing/Treating Technologies provides technical support for a range of UOP technologies such as Separax (Membranes), SeparALL, Benfield, Molsiv etc.· The primary accountability of the position is to complete the transfer of our technology in order to deliver to our customers' UOP-licensed or UOP-designed units that operate optimally, profitably and safely.· The Specialist will have regular interaction with external customers, and with other UOP personnel involved in technology delivery projects.· In addition to customer contact, the position provides interaction with all the UOP departments involved with technology delivery. The interaction with other UOP departments provides excellent exposure as well as providing knowledge of accountabilities in other areas.Key Experience & Capabilities:YOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelor's in chemical engineering
5+ years industry experience
Experience on UOP or similar Gas processing/treating technologies such as Separax, SeparALL, Benfield, Molsiv etc.

WE VALUE:

Strong interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to manage the extensive internal and external customer contact that the position demands.
Experience in commissioning, startup, operation, troubleshooting and optimization of gas processing technologies would be a plus
The position requires significant travel (~25%) and associated personal flexibility. Some trips can be planned, but ability to travel at short notice is a requirement.
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and adjust to changing priorities.
Good problem solving and dispute resolution skills
Good computer software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Unisim or other process modeling experience
Knowledge of UOP or similar gas processing/treating technologies
Field Experience (Operations and/or Technical Services)
