- Support the Supply Chain Manager in overseeing procurement and warehousing operations to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in leading, coaching, and motivating the supply chain team to achieve performance targets and departmental goals.
- Possess working knowledge of commodity materials and assist in sourcing both direct and indirect materials.
- Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders in accordance with internal policies and compliance guidelines.
- Address and resolve inter- and intra-departmental issues to maintain effective working relationships.
- Collaborate with the R&D team on the sourcing and approval of new materials.
- Work closely with the Quality team on the evaluation and approval of new suppliers and materials.
- Oversee warehouse receiving and issuance processes to ensure accuracy and proper documentation of raw materials.
- Coordinate with the Indirect Buyer to manage external warehouse operations and maintain accurate inventory records in SAP.
- Ensure month-end inventory accuracy through alignment between physical stock counts and SAP records.
- Maintain warehouse hygiene and organization in compliance with food safety standards, following FEFO and FIFO practices.
- Support and follow up on actions related to food safety audits and compliance requirements.
- Educational qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in supply chain and procurement processes within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain software and data analysis tools.
