IT Engineer (Network)

• Understand the specific detailed information regarding hardware and software selection related to network and security such as switches, routers, SD Wan,
• Network Monitoring Systems (NMS), access points, firewalls, cyber security,
• Internet Access Management (IAM) and Web Application firewalls (WAF).
• Communicate with clients to perform system administration, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and field support for client platform-related problems.
• Provides guidance and expertise in the planning, design, and implementation of customer IT infrastructure for the most efficient solution to meet business needs development, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Provide specifications and detailed design drawings for the network architecture diagram.
• Respond to incidents, investigate and provide resolutions of incidents escalated via email, inbound call or onsite based on agreed service level.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies, products and platforms such as H3C, Cisco, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Aruba and Sangfor.
• Configure Access Switch, Access Point, IPTV and Fortinet firewall, and IPSEC VPN.
• Install access switch migration to stack switch and perform network preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with the pre-sales team to perform demonstration as proof of concept for the related network products to clients.
• Fiber optics configuration and troubleshooting such as R&M, Commscope, Schneider, Avaya.

• Possess a CISCO certificate such as CCNA or CCNP.
• Strong knowledge in the installation, setup, troubleshooting and RMA for Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Sophos solutions including switches, routers, firewall, IP Phones, etc.
• Good attitude and communication skills.
• Minimum 1-2 years working experience.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/ Graduate Diploma,
• Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
