We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Bangkok, Thailand. This position is open to candidates with a strong accounting background, especially those with experience from Big 4 audit firms. Job Summary: As a Senior Accountant, you will be a crucial part of our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting for our operations in Thailand. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing accounting processes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial systems. Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and reporting requirements. General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and sub-ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data. Conduct regular reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies. Audit Collaboration: Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during the annual audit process. Implement audit recommendations and ensure timely completion of audit requirements. Tax Compliance: Collaborate with tax consultants to ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns, supporting the company's tax planning initiatives. Cost Accounting: Manage cost accounting processes to accurately allocate and track expenses related to manufacturing operations. Analyze cost variances and provide insights for continuous improvement. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency within the finance function. Collaborate with teams to implement best practices and streamline financial processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA qualification is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a preference for candidates with Big 4 audit firm background. Strong understanding of both Thai and international accounting standards. Skills Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a global team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
