Hardware Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electronic hardware systems for a variety of applications. The engineer will also support assembly, testing, quality and site related troubleshooting, and work closely with all other departments to ensure relevant processes and products in Gutor are of excellent quality and in a timely manner. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Support front end / production / quality / field service in electrical system and component characteristic and design inquiries based on Gutor design rules, knowledge and experience Able to run sustaining / development projects in addition to supporting daily business To maintain engineering databases and design / process documentations Able to design, develop, and test electronic circuits, PCB layouts and embedded systems. Ensure that hardware designs are optimized for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Build and test hardware prototypes to verify designs and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, including signal integrity, power distribution, and component failure. Conduct rigorous testing for environmental, thermal, and performance factors. Ensure hardware designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., CE, UL, RoHS). Analyze failure reports and work on continuous improvements for reliability and performance. Assist in the transfer of designs to manufacturing, ensuring efficient production processes. Support in component selection, procurement, and assembly. Additional duties to drive hardware topics include: To provide technical support for Gutor design boards for internal or external. To lead and maintain the implementation of new design To define and drive testing procedures and templates required for part qualification of new part introduction together with testbay and quality team To implement clear design rules on how to integrate new released in a full customer solution. To work closely with the purchasing department on supporting technical queries for implementation and qualification of new vendors. Support RCA when there is a customer complaint. Support test bay for troubleshooting. Knowledge And Skills - Required Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent Electrical design engineering or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years) Proven experience in hardware design, development, and testing. Understanding circuit design and analysis (analog and digital). Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements. Capable to self-organize and drive multiple work priorities in parallel effectively Decision-making, able to take decisive actions based on technical and procedural facts and experience Capable to follow and practice international standard process flows and safety regulations tailored to Gutor requirements Proficient in written and spoken English language Shall we be able to use MS.
