Job Responsibilities You will be responsible to handle and to process claims efficiently in accordance to the Company's policies and procedures to meet both the Company's objectives and customers' expectation. You are expected to assist in consultation and/or advisory basis on Non Motor Takaful Inwards claims & recoveries as & when required. You will handle claims recoveries from Brokers, Reinsurers operator and Treaty Reinsurers, both local and foreign by way of maximizing the recovery collection and minimizing impairment provision for bad debts of the company. You are expected to assist the Manager in any claims reports that are required by the management as well as to attend to other tasks as instructed by supervisors from time to time. You must ensure claims are properly handled prior to effecting payment and update it in the system. You will be tasked for the XOL indexation calculation and Reinstatement Premium calculation along with managing flood loss recoveries. Job Requirements You must possess a bachelor's degree in insurance or business studies or its equivalent. You must have at least 5 years of working experience managing claims. Having prior work experience managing for non-motor claims in either a General Insurance or General Takaful company would be advantageous. You must possess strong interpersonal & problem-solving skills to work with people at all levels. Having prior experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or Macros or VBA would be advantageous in this role. You must be able to work under pressure and demonstrate a detailed understanding of General Insurance / Takaful practices to enable further success in this role.
