Your role will encompass leading, training, and inspiring a dedicated team of spa professionals to consistently exceed service expectations while preserving the tranquil ambiance and sophisticated atmosphere of our spa.In addition to your leadership duties, you will adeptly manage administrative responsibilities, including scheduling, inventory control, and budgeting. You will collaborate seamlessly with other departments to promote our spa services, ensuring a cohesive and luxurious guest journey. Your commitment to excellence will also involve ensuring all treatments adhere to the highest health and safety standards, while your innovative marketing strategies will drive guest engagement and revenue growth.What will I be doing?As the Spa Director, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  • Leadership & Team Development
Leads, trains, and mentors the spa team to deliver exceptional services, ensuring high guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.Manages team member scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing development to maintain a motivated and skilled team.
  • Operational Efficiency & Quality Control
Oversees day-to-day spa operations, ensuring that all areas, from treatment rooms to public spaces, meet the highest standards of cleanliness, ambiance, and service.Implements and maintains health, safety, and hygiene protocols in compliance with hotel and legal standards.
  • Guest Experience & Customer Service
Ensures that all guest interactions reflect the highest standards of hospitality and wellness, addressing any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.Collaborates with the team to create and enhance spa treatments and services, tailoring offerings to meet guest preferences.
  • Marketing & Promotion
Works with the Sales and Marketing departments to promote spa services, packages, and special offers, driving guest engagement and spa revenue.Develops new programs and initiatives to increase guest participation and build long-term client relationships.
  • Inventory & Resource Management
Manages spa supplies, products, and equipment inventory, ensuring timely reordering and effective cost control while maintaining quality standards.Oversee vendor relationships and ensure all treatment products are high-quality and meet guest expectations.
  • Financial & Budget Management
Manages the spa’s financial performance, including budgeting, expense tracking, and revenue generation, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising on the guest experience.Analyzes financial data to develop strategies for increasing profitability while maintaining or improving guest satisfaction.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Coordination
Works closely with other departments, including Housekeeping, Engineering, and Sales, to ensure seamless operations and promote spa services to hotel guests.Coordinates with external vendors and partners for special events and promotions that enhance the spa experience.QualificationsWhat are we looking for?A Spa Director serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
  • Demonstrated expertise in spa management with a preference for experience in luxury or hotel environments.
  • Pre-opening experience is an added advantage.
  • Relevant certifications in spa management or wellness programs, demonstrating a commitment to professional excellence and industry standards.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable, showcasing a dedication to guest safety and well-being.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of spa treatments, products, and emerging wellness trends.
  • Well-versed in health and safety regulations and proficient in spa operations.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing innovative spa marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Demonstrates exceptional financial acumen, adeptly managing budgets, forecasts, and revenue targets with precision and strategic insight.
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction. Proficient in English, with additional language skills considered an asset.
