IT Manager (based in Okinawa, Japan)

• Responsible in overseeing of the implementation, design and maintenance of the IT infrastructure of the company.

• Verify every IT system’s performance, availability and security.

• Create and execute IT strategies that support the business goals of the company.

• Supervise, plan and execute IT projects to make sure they are finished on schedule and within budget.

• Supervise and coordinate the IT team while giving them support, training and guidance.

• Establish and implement IT procedures and policies to ensure compliance and consistency.

• Protect the companys data and systems by implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures.

• Prepare and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity.

• Ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of IT services by evaluating and managing vendor relationships with IT vendors.

• Negotiate agreements and contracts with the third-party service providers.

• Compile periodic reports on IT performance and project status for management review.

• Undertake additional tasks as needed.

• A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent from a reputable university is required.

• Malaysian or Japanese candidates with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT Management, demonstrating a strong track record of successful project delivery, are preferred.

• Demonstrated strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Uphold a high standard of integrity, possess meticulous attention to detail, analytical prowess, and the ability to work independently.

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of IT systems, project management, and infrastructure.

• Exhibit outstanding problem-solving and communication capabilities.

• Preferred certifications include ITIL, PMP, or other relevant industry certifications.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written Japanese and English is advantageous.

• Excellent time management skills are essential for meeting project deadlines.

• Highly self-motivated individuals who excel under pressure are desired.
