City: Johor Bahru - CJASummaryThe Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment is responsible for the development and/or sourcing of manufacturing equipment to support manufacturing operations goals. Scope of job may include design and development of equipment, qualification, deployment to manufacturing, improving performance and supporting programs to optimize efficiencies while maintaining a safe working environment.Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Designing and Developing: Creating new systems, products, or processes, or improving existing ones.
- Problem Solving: Analyzing technical challenges and developing innovative solutions using scientific and mathematical principles.
- Testing and Evaluation: Conducting experiments, analyzing data, and ensuring that designs and systems meet required standards.
- Project Management: Overseeing projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Documentation and Reporting: Preparing technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
- Collaboration: Working effectively with other engineers, stakeholders, and clients to achieve project goals.
- Ensuring Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations and ensuring that designs and processes meet required standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance processes, products, and systems.
- Degree/ Diploma in Science Computers/Electronics/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent combination education and experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in equipment engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant software and tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices
