Mission With multiple banks and insurers pushing countless products out to consumers in the market today, navigating one's way through all the marketing and technical jargon while dodging the tactics of their overly pushy sales representatives simultaneously can be a major challenge, even for the experienced consumer. Personal finance is complex, but you will be able to translate and simplify this world through engaging storytelling formats such as infographics, motion design, social media or even through a reimagining of the MoneySmart user experience. You will play a vital role in evolving MoneySmart as a brand worth engaging with and advocating for; From user flows to marketing campaigns and educational content. You will be working with a team of multidisciplinary designers across both Singapore and Hong Kong markets, and with the Content and Marketing teams to develop and evolve our MoneySmart brand. Responsibilities Work closely with the Content and Marketing team to produce educational, informative and entertaining output in the form of infographics, illustrations and animated videos Support Video projects with motion graphics and editing to produce live action videos Work with the Performance Marketing team to create campaign creatives in the form of banners, landing page designs, social ads, which may be static or animated Support the Product Experience team with creating relevant and delightful illustrations and motion graphics in the context of a responsive web environment Develop a habit of testing your designs and ideas with the team, gathering feedback and data from campaigns, social media performance and other means to justify brand direction and stylistic explorations Requirements Min 2 years experience in motion design and digital marketing or social media design in an agency, in-house design team or freelance experience Strong visual portfolio with motion design, documentation from concept to delivery is a plus Experience with Adobe After Effects and Illustrator. Ability in the rest of the Adobe Suite is a plus Experience in creating motion graphics for responsive Web or App environments is a plus Video editing experience is a plus Killer motion and graphic design skills, with an expert foundation and high sensitivity to composition and communication in visual design You're great at working smart and putting customer impact first. You're able to create creative, impactful concepts that can be done efficiently, without excessive tedious work that creates minor impact on your audience Ability to design within a brand style and understand our brand and translate our visual language into design materials You must be able to articulate design decisions and understand how your design fits in the greater brand concept while meeting revenue-driven goals You are a trend spotter and able to keep up to date with the latest content and design trends in the market, and are able to expertly translate these to the MoneySmart brand You must be able to assimilate information and organize and present them in a succinct and comprehensive manner Have a hunger for knowledge, unafraid to ask questions and strive for continuous learning You must know your 12 Principles of Animation. You must have had a decent foundation in Animation (being self-taught counts), and it should show in your portfolio work You have a knack for storytelling. The best way to create something that someone cares about is to wrap it in a story. You can make anything interesting and engaging, or you love the challenge of doing so. Attention to detail. You must be a design nerd who finds beauty in perfect alignment and crisp image rendering Be a team player and work and thrive in a tightly-knit and highly collaborative team of multi-skilled designers, marketers, product managers and writers.
