You will oversee the audit process, maintain client relationships, and guide a team of auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high-quality audit services.You are expected to provide guidance and mentoring of junior team members on their personal growth and career progression.Key responsibilities

Plan and execute audits in accordance with regulations, developing effective audit strategies and risk assessments aligned with BDO’s policies
Prepare and review audit reports for accuracy and clarity, presenting findings to both clients and management
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality deliverables
Foster a positive learning environment by coaching and mentoring junior team members to support their personal and professional development

Education and professional skills / knowledgeExperience and Education:

More than 6 years of working experience preferably in a professional services environment
At least 1 year of experience in leading and managing teams
A recognized degree in Accounting or equivalent with a Professional Accounting qualification and / or membership in Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Other skills:

Possess strong people management, interpersonal, communication and networking skills
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Strong client service orientation
Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent command of English
