- Provide operational, technical and business development management of the Country Sub-Sector to support SJ Group’s vision and values.
- Manage the Country financial targets of the Sub-Sector and the achievement of the Country Sub-Sector operational plans.
- In collaboration with the Sub-Sector, Southeast Asia Director ensure capability development and mobilisation of sub-sector resources to support SJ Group’s overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with Southeast Asia and Pacific Dams and Hydropower leaders to manage business development activity.
- Provide support to the Sub-Sector, Southeast Asia Director and manage activity to transition regional based business model to a global service model.
- Contributing to the successful delivery of hydropower and dams projects within Country.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC).
- Knowledge of operational, technical and business development management in dam safety industry, with full understanding of national guidelines MyDAMS 2017.
- Experience in more than 20 local and international dams and hydropower dam safety projects, including investigation & design, operation and maintenance, dam safety inspection and review, dam rehabilitation, emergency preparedness of dams.
- Knowledge and understanding of earthfill dams, rockfill dams and concrete dams.
- Knowledge of purpose of dams as hydropower, water supply, irrigation, flood mitigation, and recreation.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for dam safety projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Preference (but not compulsory) in understanding of hydropower project processes and regulations.
- Showcase your experience in dam safety management and engineering.
- Committee/ Member of recognised dam professional bodies, MYCOLD, ICOLD, ANCOLD, and any other local and international societies/ associations.
- Experience in publication and presentation of papers in international conferences and journals.
- Experience as organiser, speaker, trainer and assessor in dam engineering and management conferences, seminars, workshops, stakeholders’ engagement, dam safety courses and certified training program.
