Someone with an attitude to deliver and a passion to delight.As a Service Associate in Shangri-La Finance Shared Services - Finance Risk Control, we rely on you to:
  • Be a part of and support the operations of the Finance Risk Control (i.e. Income Audit + Cost Control) team;
  • Ensure all revenues generated in the hotels are recorded accurately and discrepancies reported on a timely basis;
  • Help produce the daily revenue report and reconcile all revenues against cash banked and accounts receivable movements for each day.
  • Ensure that all revenues are recorded and reported on a daily basis and all control procedures are in place relating to the income process.
  • Assist in calculating costs of food and beverage items.
  • Record information and help produce control reports periodically to maintain a suitable inventory of food and beverage items for the hotels;
  • Help change the price of menu items based on the costing information collected and also actively take part in engineering the menu in terms of the pricing;
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Is self-driven, goal-oriented, and willing to challenge the status quo;
  • Is a strong team player with the ability to work independently and is flexible and open-minded, and has good organisational and analytical skills;
  • Upholds professional values, ethics, and integrity at all times;
  • Is able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Can communicate effectively and professionally, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia;
  • Is proficient with MS Office (Excel / Word); any experience with Opera PMS, Infrasys Point-of-Sale, Delphi, SunSystem, etc., would be valuable.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent certification.
  • Any experience working in a similar capacity in an International Luxury Hotel Chain is an advantage.
