
Senior Business Risk Manager, Trading and Sales

- Be aware of and understand the Markets Business as well as the relevant Non-financial risk related to the business with a specific focus on Sales
- Support other BRMs in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks by reviewing, creating monitors and controls where appropriate as well as writing risk assessments.
- Support tasks to execute and manage the supervisory framework or other associated requirements of the Trading & Sales BRM, taking appropriate actions to address any deficiencies and shortcomings Escalate any elevated risks to Sales COO, Markets COO, Global BRMs and Compliance.
- Collaborate with Sales COO to identify and address controls deficiencies and enhance / improve existing controls.
- Act as a subject matter expert for M7, such that effective management information for the Trading & Sales BRM, or other senior Markets business heads as well as Operational risk and Compliance leads.
- Responsible for helping timely identification, assessment, mitigation, reporting and escalation of all identified Operational Risk exposures impacting Trading & Sales risks.
- Responsible for helping reviews of operational errors that occur within business that result in financial losses, gains, near misses, reputational damage or danger to people or our reputation.
- Lead the Sales Anti Money Laundering Group (AMLOG)
- Support the Trading & Sales BRM team in preparation of Sales items for Markets Non-Financial Risk (NFR) forums.
- Support any Audit or Compliance reviews.
- Degree or Diploma or equivalent.
- Min 7-8 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding in risk framework and governance
- Understanding of Markets Businesses and non-financial risk related to business with a specific focus on sales.
- Good communication skills verbal and written.
- Good Stakeholder Management and Collaboration
- Proficient in MS Office tools ie: Strong in MS Excel
