- Provide technical leadership and oversight across all phases of lending project delivery, from requirements analysis to deployment and post-implementation support.
- Translate business needs into scalable and effective technical solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and expectations.
- Lead the design and architecture of lending systems, selecting appropriate technologies and frameworks.
- Supervise and mentor technical teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee code reviews, system modifications, and quality assurance processes to enforce technical standards and best practices.
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define requirements, resolve issues, and ensure technical feasibility.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for system integration, support, and troubleshooting.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to lending and financial services, recommending improvements where appropriate.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment plans, and progress reports for internal and client review

- Tertiary qualification in a business, actuarial, finance or technology discipline
- Currently enrolled in an MBA program or have obtained the qualification with a well ranked institution
- Minimum 6-8 years of working experience in the Consulting Industry and/or Financial Services Industry - Banking Institutions
- Knowledge of Southeast Asia market, the core trends and drivers, with proficiency in articulating regulatory, economic, technological, and business impacts on key institutions
- Experience leading technical teams in the delivery of lending systems within banking or financial services.
- Strong expertise in software/system architecture, design, and development for lending or financial applications.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and integration approaches used in lending or financial platforms (e.g., Java).
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and risk management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with code review, quality assurance, and deployment best practices.
- Prior experience implementing or integrating loan origination and loan servicing systems.
- Knowledge of general ledger (GL) integration and financial reconciliation as they relate to lending systems.
- Experience with digital transformation, automation, and industry-specific lending platforms (e.g., FIS, Finastra).
- Exposure to payment processing, AI, and risk management as they specifically relate to lending operations.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex project environments.
- Exposure to FIS platforms is a plus.
