The Business Development Associate at Nexxu Group plays a key role in accelerating agency growth by identifying high-potential clients , securing new projects , and building strategic partnerships across diverse industries. This role combines strategic prospecting with creative consultation, focusing on market expansion, deal closure, and strong client relationship management in Malaysia's dynamic digital and branding space. WHAT YOU&aposLL BE DOING: 1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Building Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across digital, branding, creative and consultation scopes. Lead outreach efforts via networking, social platforms, events, and targeted prospecting. Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring satisfaction throughout the engagement journey. 2. Pitching & Proposal Management Prepare and deliver tailored sales decks, proposals, and pitches that address client needs and showcase company&aposs capabilities. Collaborate with internal teams (creative, strategy, digital) to ensure solutions are aligned and competitive. Lead contract negotiation and close deals independently or in collaboration with senior leadership. 3. Lead Management & Reporting Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and CRM system to track all leads, interactions, and conversion progress. Report on sales performance, pipeline health, and market trends weekly. Strategically follow up with prospects to turn warm leads into confirmed projects. 4. Client Onboarding & Growth Act as the main point of contact during and after onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition from sale to execution while coordinating closely with internal teams. Identify upselling or renewal opportunities within existing accounts. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 1.Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. 2. Experiences :1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management within an agency or similar service-based environment. 3. Knowledge : Understanding of digital marketing trends (e.g., social media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, sales funnel) is a strong plus. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and digital sales processes. 4. Qualities : Proactive, adaptable, resourceful, and eager to learn. A growth-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and cross functionally. 5. Skills : Proven experience in closing deals and meeting revenue or project goals. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong ability in preparing compelling proposals and professional presentation slides. Proficiency in English is a must.
