We're seeking a Planning Manager to oversee production and material planning, ensuring smooth operations from raw material sourcing to finished goods delivery. This role will also spearhead ERP/MRP system implementation and lead a planning team to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to meet demand forecasts, maintain inventory levels, and ensure timely material availability.
  • Monitor capacity constraints, resolve production bottlenecks, and maintain safety stock levels to support business continuity.
  • Oversee shipping and logistics functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Lead ERP/MRP setup, customization, and integration, ensuring accurate data migration and optimized planning processes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of planners, delegating tasks effectively to meet planning targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Production, QA, Warehouse, and Sales to align operational plans with business goals.
  • Track and report planning KPIs such as On-Time Delivery, Forecast Accuracy, and Inventory Turns, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for planning issues and implement corrective measures.
Lead planning in a growing food manufacturerDrive ERP/MRP system implementation.A successful Planning Manager should have:
  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in production and material planning within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in ERP/MRP system implementation in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong grasp of planning principles, capacity planning, and inventory management.
  • Skilled in ERP/MRP tools and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
