- Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to meet demand forecasts, maintain inventory levels, and ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor capacity constraints, resolve production bottlenecks, and maintain safety stock levels to support business continuity.
- Oversee shipping and logistics functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Lead ERP/MRP setup, customization, and integration, ensuring accurate data migration and optimized planning processes.
- Manage and mentor a team of planners, delegating tasks effectively to meet planning targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Production, QA, Warehouse, and Sales to align operational plans with business goals.
- Track and report planning KPIs such as On-Time Delivery, Forecast Accuracy, and Inventory Turns, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis for planning issues and implement corrective measures.
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in production and material planning within the food manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in ERP/MRP system implementation in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong grasp of planning principles, capacity planning, and inventory management.
- Skilled in ERP/MRP tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
