Responsibilities Responsible for the overall function of finance department for developers and construction. Overall, in charge of the accounting function of northern property i.e., Machang Bubuk/ Bukit Minyak new projects. Timeliness in closing monthly account and report to management on the financial performance of the Company. Improvement in department processes. Monitoring and evaluating the policies and procedures as part of continuous improvement and provide better information and service to customers. Coordinating with respective department heads to develop annual budget. Monitoring the financial result to guard against budget. Highlight the variances and identify the contingency plan to cover the shortfall if any. Compliance to relevant standard & provision of laws (HDA, tax regulation and Bursa Malaysia requirements). Specific duties/tasks: Monitoring the cash flow position and ensure the operation of the company has sufficient funds to meet end needs. Possess a good bargaining skill in getting best repo rates and timely withdrawal of excess fund from HDA accounts to maximize the interest income earned. Sourcing the external funds with bankers. To handle the opening and closing of HDA accounts. To ensure the claims and withdrawal are made in accordance with the HDA Act. To estimate on the yearly tax instalment and liaise with the tax agent on the tax revision if any. Any other duties/tasks as assigned by the Company. Qualification or Education Level Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA or MICPA) Preferably with qualified MIA
