
Head, SDGI Transformation

- Lead the development of SDGI’s transformation program together with the Head Transformation Office (“TO”) Asia Pacific (“APAC”) & Oceania, Head TO Europe & Africa, and Head Sales & Operational Planning (“S&OP”) and in partnership with SDGI CEO, Segment Heads and Business Unit Heads. Activities include but are not limited to:
- Defining an overall program structure in syndication with key stakeholders;
- Defining workstream scope and identifying the right owners in the Group or SDGI;
- Estimating impact uplift for each workstream to help with prioritisation; and,
- Defining a 5-year workplan for each workstream in syndication with the respective workstream owners; and,
- Setting up a program cadence to embed practices and create momentum.
- Lead the communication of the 2026-2030 transformation program objectives and workplan to the wider Group and SDGI organization
- Set leading indicator targets (e.g., milestones) for each workstream and develop mechanisms to track progress against those targets, in syndication with key Group and SDGI stakeholders, e.g., Group Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and CEO SDGI.
- Work closely with the Group and SDGI Leadership as a thought partner to diagnose potential areas to sweat SDGI’s network of assets
- Develop keen understanding of the key challenges affecting the different Business Units in SDGI
- Lead the Downstream TO teams to engage with the SDGI Region Heads and BU Heads to identify areas of opportunity to unlock value.
- Work closely with the other Group TO pillars of Upstream TO, Data Analytics and Digital Strategy to drive Group-level initiatives, by providing support as the Downstream subject matter expert on technical and people matters for SDGI
- Continuously identify areas where SDGI TO or S&OP could leverage the capabilities of the other GTO verticals, e.g., Data Analytics capabilities for global or regional key account optimisation
- Set annual team targets in line with SDGI’s 2026-2030 program, and cascade it down to each Head and sub-team
- Coach the Heads of each team in areas of analytical expertise, stakeholder management and communication
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/ Finance / Economics / Engineering
- Masters Degree holders e.g., MBA, or relevant professional qualifications, e.g., CPA, CFA, would be at an advantage
- 10+ years of experience in Business Transformation, Operations, Strategy Development or Portfolio Management within FMCG, agribusiness, manufacturing, consulting or Private Equity.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional transformation programs
- Strong understanding of operational levers and digital enablement in a downstream context
- Experience with AI, data analytics, and process optimization is highly desirable
- An understanding of the palm oil sector or the commercial functions of an agribusiness would be an added advantage
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellence stakeholder management and communication skills
- Results-oriented with a bias for execution and continuous improvement
- Comfortable navigating complexity and driving change across diverse teams
