Job Responsibility Be responsible for proper maintenance of all company vehicles and maintenance of equipment and tools, including the vehicle workshop / garage. Responsible to diagnose problems in vehicle / equipment or verification of diagnose done by third parties. Responsible for verification of vehicle parts ordering, in conjunction with Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor. Developing work schedule for mechanics. Provide guidance, coaching and train mechanics on areas that requires improvement to meet technical skill demands and ensuring quality workmanship. Provide suggestions on equipment and tools required for day-to-day work execution to Supervisors and Management for approval. Ensure proper and safe usage of tools and equipment. Work as mechanic when needed, or as time will allow. Including mechanical and electrical work, tune-ups, engine overhauls, repairs and replaces clutches, brakes, etc. E.g. air Cond maintenance of vehicle, lubrication, oil replacement. Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Job Requirements Minimum SPM/SKM and 3 years experience in relevant field Excellent hands-on skills with eye for details Ability to work independently. Positive attitude and responsible character. Pleasant personality with focus on excellence in customer service. Prior working experience will be an added advantage. Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skill. Possess self-confidence and be able to actively interact with all relevant parties.. Have a valid driving license & GDL. Experience in building and managing a team of mechanics. Ability to diagnose problems and to make judgments as to the type of repair needed, including problems existing from the improper or lack of preventive maintenance. Comprehensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of light to heavy trucks and maintenance tools. Knowledge of standard practices and equipment of the diesel trucks and vehicles.
