- Assist with the procurement process, including researching suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating prices and terms.
- Coordinate with vendors to place orders, track deliveries, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, including order details, delivery dates, and pricing information.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and inventory management, to coordinate purchasing activities.
- Assist with invoice verification and reconciliation to ensure accurate payment processing.
- Provide administrative support to the purchasing team, including filing documents, updating databases, and preparing reports.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Attendtion to detail and accuracy in all work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
