Based in Melaka Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing R&D projects from inception to commercialization, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and product development
  • Working with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, assembly) to ensure seamless integration of R&D outputs
  • Tracking R&D progress, analyzing results, and reporting on performance against key metrics
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, helping them grow their skills and knowledge
  • Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and trends in software development
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, science, technology) is required
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of relevant industries and technologies are necessary
  • Extensive experience at least 10 years in research and development, project management, and team leadership is essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
