Job Description We are currently seeking a Graduate Flow Assurance Engineer to join our Genesis team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. About The Job Understand the technical data and discipline work instructions Follow project management instructions to ensure completion of project is in accordance with project requirements. Awareness of execution schedule Develops and analyses engineering solutions to specific job requirements. Liaises with other disciplines for applicable engineering interfaces. Assist with preparation, of engineering deliverables and ensures quality is in line with Genesis' standards Assist with Engineering Studies (& Simulations where appropriate) Running of proprietary software & design packages. Performing engineering calculations where necessary. Production of technical notes for reporting of study results. About You Qualifications & Experience: Required Skills: Bachelors Degree in Engineering - preferable Chemical or Petroleum (or enrolled Flow Assurance as a subject) Less than 2 years of working experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Good communication skills Strong team collaboration Intellectual ownership of assigned work scope Demonstration of curiosity, drive and flexibility Good understanding of fluid dynamics and fluid characteristics Good understanding of PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs, H&MB and process simulation software (HYSYS, Symmetry etc.) Good understanding of thermodynamic fluid properties & phase behavior A first experience in flow assurance will be a plus Understanding of flow assurance fundamentals; Flow Assurance issues- liquid management , slugging, hydrate management, wax deposition, scale, corrosion, erosion Production Optimization Modelling experience using OLGA, PIPESIM, PVTSim, PIPENET, SPS or similar We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break down boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity and pioneer spirit which drive our people.
