Principal Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and submit statutory and non-statutory reports to BNM, LIAM, and other regulators, including MFRS 4 and MFRS 17. Ensure accuracy of reported figures through reconciliations. Participate in technical discussions on IFRS/MFRS 17 and new accounting/reporting standards. Handle month-end closing tasks: journal postings, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting. Support documentation of processes and accounting policies. Analyse financial performance regularly. Recommend and assist in improving procedures, systems, and internal controls. Support the preparation of financial statements. Be flexible and handle management initiatives or ad-hoc tasks. Job Specifications Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent). Minimum 5 years' relevant experience. Strong interpersonal skills; able to work both independently and in a team. Results-driven, with urgency in resolving project-related matters. Comfortable with uncertainty and adaptable to change. Solid knowledge of IFRS and IAS; exposure to IFRS 17 is an advantage. Preferably from life insurance or audit background.
