Job Purpose: We are seeking a cybersecurity expert with a deep understanding of the current threat landscape. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for the implementation, policies, support, and maintenance of IT infrastructures related to security solutions and services. Roles and Responsibilities: Deploy and configure advanced security policies. Implement robust protection measures. Maintain and support cutting-edge security solutions. Resolve complex cybersecurity threats efficiently. Participate in tender and project implementations (UAT). Prepare comprehensive security reports. Enhance cybersecurity preparedness and operational resilience. Conduct thorough testing (Proof of Concept/Value). Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, with a major in Network/Security. Preferrable 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Proven experience in the deployment and configuration of firewalls. In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.). Flexibility to work with various firewall vendors. Understanding of next-generation firewall features (e.g., IPS). Ability to interpret network flow and network diagrams. Intermediate knowledge of switching and routing. Strong problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting skills related to network security issues. Knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations. Availability to be on stand-by during non-office hours. Passion for exploring new technologies. Adaptability to work with different teams, new projects, and various technologies. Open to Sarawakians only.
